PROFILE
The University of Wolver Hampton is a dynamic,
supportive university at the heart of England with four campuses covering the
West Midlands and Shropshire.
With its main campus in one of the UK's three Millennium
cities, the University benefits from excellent road, rail and air links and a
combination of countryside attractions and city amenities. Each campus has
everything you'd expect from one of the country's largest universities,
including new, hi-tech learning centres, students’ unions, sports and science
facilities, shops, places to eat and drink.
A further £60 million investment, now well under way, will guarantee our 21,000
students some of the best facilities UK higher education can offer.
Education is our core business and we offer a wide range of courses at all
levels in over 250 subjects, each focused on the practical skills employers need
- in fact 89% of our students get a job or continue to study after graduation.
We also work closely with businesses of all sizes, organizing bespoke training,
testing, research, consultancy, student and graduate placements.
We have a reputation for leading the way and were the first university to:
 |
introduce a specialized degree in Interactive
Multimedia Communication
|
 |
run a degree in British Sign Language/English
Interpreting
|
 |
launch a Higher Education Shop offering advice on
higher education anywhere in
the UK .

CAMPUSES
The University of Wolver Hampton has four
campuses spread across the West Midlands and Shropshire - in Telford, Walsall,
Compton Park and Wolver Hampton, as well as nursing centres at four local
hospitals.
While enjoying their own unique character, the campuses also share many
attributes - cafeterias, bookshops, Students' Union and halls of residence. You
will also find a well-stocked Learning Centre, all electronically linked to the
main site in Wolver Hampton.
Getting around the various sites is easy, thanks to a recent £500,000 investment
in a new fleet of shuttle buses. These distinctive vehicles run between all four
campuses regularly throughout the day and early evening - and all free of charge
too.
